...every child counts
WELCOME
Concerned Citizens Against Domestic Abuse Corp. (CCADAC), is a Georgia based charitable not-for-profit organization formed out of a desire to provide assistance to abused adults and children in South America, particularly Guyana.
Abuse is a global problem that silences the voices of its victims and can be inflicted on anyone regardless of race, age, sexual orientation or religion; and violates their basic human rights.

OUR VISION HOW WE WORK
Domestic abuse is a social, legal, and public health issue that affects many regardless of age, ethnicity or social status.
Adult victims and their children suffer untold emotional damage and physical harm, including death.
Unfortunately, the stories are never pleasant.
In order to realize our mission statement, CCADAC will be working in tandem with several organizations in Guyana. Our focus is to:
violence against adults and children
can become entrenched in the minds of young people and
other members of the communities
schools and other institutions aimed at increasing the
knowledge and understanding of the cause and consequences
of this behavior
so that they are effective in handling these situations when
they occur.

OUR SPONSORS
"Communication is a powerful tool for the victim of domestic abuse. Its skilled internal use with the abuser combined with grasped opportunities to communicate externally a need for help even in the face of a real fear of the consequences of the latterwill help to benefit the victim.
Domestic Abuse must no longer be termed a private affair; and good communication skills will debunk this myth."
"Domestic abuse is not only physical. It is emotional, mental, sexual and economical. Why do most women stay in these relationships? Often they feel they have some control over the situation. Their perception of being in control is however an illusion. As long as women feel there is hope for the relationship they will remain even if abused, sometimes it is just too late."
Our sponsors are passionate about their involvement with CCADAC and we couldn't be more pleased.
We have their support in making a difference in the lives of abused adults and children as they continue to bring awareness within their communities and among their employees.
Accordingly, we salute all of our sponsors with our heartfelt thanks.
